Love Oyedepo, the daughter of Living Faith Church founder Bishop David Oyedepo, was the object of Pastor Leke Adeboye’s childhood love, according to Pastor Leke Adeboye, son of General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
According to PUNCH Online, Adeboye revealed this in a 47-minute podcast titled “Confession Box,” which was posted on the YouTube channel on Friday.
Isaac, the son of Bishop Oyedepo and Love’s brother, was his guest on the program.
Adeboye related how he followed RCCG guidelines and proposed to his wife without a ring.
He said that he had promised her on a scroll that she would never regret getting married to him.
“I used to have a crush on your sister, Love, but she was crushing on my brother,” Leke said to Isaac.
2011 saw the marriage of Leke Adeboye and Titilope Rachel Adeboye, who are blessed with four children.
Leke, the youngest of Enoch and Folu Adeboye’s children, assists his father, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, personally and as an assistant pastor at RCCG.
However, Love is currently also wed to Pastor Stephen Ogah, who serves as an associate pastor at Living Faith Church Worldwide’s Faith Tabernacle Canaanland.
On Oyedepo’s standing in his father’s church
Isaac, who had previously been questioned on his standing in his father’s church, in the meantime, reiterated that he is a member and steward of Living Faith Church.
It’s a change of phase. Not much really changed, according to Isaac.
The younger Oyedepo addressed rumors regarding his standing in the church and his connection with his father, according to a PUNCH Online story from October 2023.
He subsequently declared, “I remain a steadfast member of the Living Faith Church committed to serving the body of Christ.”
He received his father’s blessings and revealed his ministry about a month later.
